Dr. Ratna Koneru has over 20 years of clinical research and teaching experience. She Worked as a full time Associate Professor at Montessori Mahila Kalasala, Vijayawada, A.P, India from 2000 - 2013. At the same time, she also worked as a part time Consultant Biochemist at Charitha Sri Multi-Specialty Hospital, Vijayawada from 2000 July to 2013 and also as a Worked as a part time Lecturer for BSc, MLT and BSc Nursing at Charitha School of Nursing, Vijayawada, A.P, India from 2004 August to 2006 July.

Later she was served as the Associate Dean, Faculty of Medicine, H.O. D, Dept. of Biochemistry, International Medical and Technological University, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. 2014 March to May 2020

She is currently working as the Vice Principal, Controller of Examinations, Tutor at Vignan Institute of Science and Technology, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania since 2020, May.

Dr. Koneru holds a B.Sc. degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food & Nutrition from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, India [1998], M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from the Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, India [2000] and a Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology from the JNTU, Hyderabad, India [2009].
